Christchurch to Talbot Woods on the Wessex Way
From the Priory, the Quay or Saxon Square, join the A338 Wessex Way westbound and leave for Wimborne Road or Wallisdown Road, then follow the signs into Talbot Woods. Twenty to twenty-five minutes is typical outside the rush hour; the train to Bournemouth and a bus up Wimborne Road is the alternative.
Christchurch has an older population than Bournemouth, and much of our work for patients from here is about staying mobile: hips, knees and lower backs that have to keep up with walking the Quay, sailing out of Mudeford and looking after grandchildren. We also see rowers and paddleboarders from the harbour and staff from the Priory Quarter.
Because the Wessex Way is at its worst between four and six, Christchurch patients tend to come mid-morning or take a Saturday slot. Parking at the clinic is free and off the road, so the journey ends without a car park to negotiate.
After years of suffering with neck & back pain I discovered Dr Elliot & the results have been transformative! Through delivery of a long-term treatment plan I’m now pain free & even my tinnitus has eased. Highly recommended!
