How much does it cost?

Fees are confirmed when you book. What we can set out here is exactly what the consultation includes and why your care plan, and its cost, is agreed after the examination rather than before it.

In short

Fees for the New Patient Consultation are confirmed when you book, and the cost of any care plan is set out at your second visit before anything is agreed. The consultation is two visits: a thorough examination, then a report of findings with your care plan. Nothing is committed to before you have heard the findings.

We do not publish a price list on the main pages of this site, and there is a reason for that. The right plan for you is not known until you have been examined, so a figure quoted before that would either be a guess or a one-size-fits-all package. Fees for the New Patient Consultation are confirmed when you book, and the cost of any care plan is set out at your second visit before anything is agreed. This guide explains what you get for the consultation and how the rest is decided.

What the New Patient Consultation includes

The consultation is two visits. The first is the examination, which usually lasts around thirty minutes and includes a review of your health history, a neurological and orthopaedic examination, digital posture analysis, gait analysis, vitality tests including heart rate variability, balance and weight distribution and ribcage expansion.

The second is a shorter report-of-findings appointment. It includes an explanation of what we found regarding your complaint, the results of the vitality tests, your chiropractic care plan with what we can do to help and what you can do to support yourself, treatment recommendations, and answers to any questions about your health. If you are happy with everything discussed, your first adjustment follows in that same visit.

Care plans are agreed after the consultation

Based on the information collected at your examination, a customised treatment plan is created to best suit your needs, and the length of your care plan is decided at the report of findings. That is when the cost of ongoing care is set out, with the plan, and you decide whether to go ahead. Nothing is committed to before you have heard the findings.

Booking and your deposit

Consultations are booked online through the booking page or by phone. When you book online a deposit secures the appointment and the fee is shown before you confirm. If you would rather talk it through first, call the clinic: a short conversation is often the easiest way to settle any questions, including about cost.

Do I need a referral or insurance?

You do not need a GP referral to see a chiropractor, and you can book directly with us. If you plan to claim through a health insurer, check their requirements with them before your first visit and let us know when you book.
