Across from Poole on Dorset Way
From central Poole the quick route is the A3049 Dorset Way: join it near the Dolphin Centre or from Holes Bay, head east, leave at the Wallisdown roundabout and follow Wallisdown Road into Talbot Woods. Fifteen to twenty minutes covers it from the Quay or Poole Park, and Alder Road from Branksome is a good alternative when Dorset Way is slow.
Poole patients come from a wide net: hospital staff from Longfleet, people who work on the Quay and at the harbour marinas, rowers and sailors from the park and the harbour, and families from the streets around Poole Park. Lower back and shoulder complaints from the water sports are common, as are long-standing neck problems from driving.
The journey is long enough that most Poole patients settle into a fixed slot, usually a Tuesday or Thursday evening after work or a Saturday morning. There is free parking in the clinic courtyard, which matters when you have already paid for a day in a Poole car park.
I was recommended to Elliot from my Jiu Jitsu coach. I’m a black belt with over 25 years of wear and tear on my body, I experienced severe lower back issues to the point where I could not move, let alone train. I visited Elliot, had a consultation and a treatment plan was put in place. I am now part way through the treatment and can honestly say this was the best decision ever! I have complete full range of motion again, all pain is gone and I am able to perform all rebuilding exercises with ease. I will be back on the mats choking out my students again in no time 🤣
